Prace w ogrodzie powoli zbliżają się do końca tak jak cały okres wegetacyjny. Za oknem zimno i szaro. Przyszedł czas na inne zajęcia np. czytanie o ogrodach. Nie chodzi mi jednak o poradniki, tylko powieści, gdzie głównym bohaterem jest ogród i natura. Taką książką jest z pewnością wydana w 1911 roku w Wielkiej Brytanii powieść "Tajemniczy ogród" autorstwa Frances Hodgson Burnett. Jest to teoretycznie książka dla dzieci jednak ze względu na uniwersalny charakter starsi ogrodnicy także nie będą się nudzić.
